RIDER #2 Alberto Losada

The road cyclist who wins in mountain bike races.

Alberto Losada is an ex-professional cyclist born in Barcelona in 1982. He's been professional cyclist since 2006 being in teams like Kaiku, Caise D'Epargne or Team Katusha.

He has competed with riders like Alberto Contador, Chris Froome or Fabio Aru.

Now, he is riding and participating in mountain bike races with his mate Ibon Zugasti in the Orbea Factory Team. He is wining and fighting with the best mountain bike riders. So he's not a road cyclist he is a cyclist in all its forms.

List of achievements.

• Winner of the "Vuelta a Cantabria" (2004).
• Winner of the "Escalada a Montjuïc" (2006).
• 8th in the "GP Miguel Indurain" (2013).
• 17 participation in grand Tours, finishing 16 of them (2007-2017).
• Winner of the 3rd stage of  "Mediterranean Epic" (2018).
